Before the carrier arrives
- Arrange an adult receiver and a safe unloading area.
- Have a camera or phone ready.
- Confirm the shipment piece count on the carrier notice.
- Do not rely on the driver to perform the inspection for you.
Inspect before signing
- Photograph every side of the crate, carton, pallet, and shipping label.
- Look for punctures, crushed corners, torn wrap, water exposure, broken bands, or missing pieces.
- Open the outer packaging when permitted and inspect the part surface and mounting edges.
- Compare the number of pieces received with the delivery receipt.
If damage is visible
Write specific damage on the carrier delivery receipt before signing. Do not write only "subject to inspection." Examples include "crate punctured, hood edge exposed" or "one of two cartons missing."
If damage appears severe, refuse the damaged piece and keep photographs of the shipment and annotated receipt. If you accept a damaged shipment, retain all packaging until the claim is resolved.
A clean signature may confirm the shipment was received without visible damage and can materially limit carrier claim options.
Report within 24 hours
Email claims@revflowparts.com with your order number, delivery receipt, shipping label, full-package photos, close-up damage photos, and a description of affected parts. Concealed damage should also be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Do not install, modify, paint, sand, discard packaging, or return a damaged part without written instructions. Those actions may prevent inspection or claim recovery.
